Alex Hunter heads to Sweetwater, a small, quaint town she once visited as a little girl with her parents, to hide out until the dust settles after experiencing the most dreadful day of her life. She meets Matt Turner and as a romance begins to blossom, strange events occur that test their relationship. And, it's not long before Alex discovers that she has much more history in Sweetwater than she thought, and a dangerous storm surrounding an unsolved murder starts to brew.
